Where is everyone? Are you all hibernating, too? Expecting a Snowicaine tonight. Yuck. Me and the Golden Princess are on the couch watching "Dexter" while the chili cooks......

What ever happened to the good old fashioned blizzard? I am not expecting huge snow, but I haven't listened to the weather since 0730 either.
I am thinking of a chicken tagine for tonight.

You are so right! But if, as they say, we are going to get 75 mph winds WITH the snow, isn't that a little snow and a little hurricane? Truthfully, I don't know. I'm used to Tule fog, and earthquakes.......No matter how long I live here, I never get used to it.....

All,

In San Francisco today, it as around 68F and sunny. With blue skies. :)

Lest you envy me too much though, I've spent the last 3 weeks working on an overdue project, without a single day off. Around 10 hours a day.

And Denver has been lovely in the mid to high 40's, some sun, some overcast.....snowing like crazy in the mountains (as it should be). I am waiting to see my first crocus.....any day now

Here I am.
It is trying to be Spring here. The weather is kind of mixed but it is supposed to get into the 50's. I saw some snowdrops yesterday and the greens of unknown bulbs too.

It's been so cold and gray here. We haven't had a winter like this since the late 70s. We haven't had a tremendous volume of snow but what we've had has hung around for weeks because of the cold. And whatever happened to sunshine?

Tried to start a new jigsaw puzzle but gave up because the light is so bad I can't tell
the blacks from the browns from the greens from the blues. So there it sits, waiting. The dog is desperate to get to it because I holler at him every time he gets near it.

Can spring be far away?

It's been quite cold and blustery here, too. This winter seems worse than last winter, but I'm not sure if it is my perception or reality.

Next Wednesday I will be in Daytona, Florida so at least I will get a respite for a few days. We've been gone so much that I haven't been able to do much cooking or baking.

OOOOOHHHH, Marcie, my neighbor just got back from Daytona, where it was 40 degrees and raining......watch the weather. You might get an unpleasant surprise (we'll keep our fingers crossed that you don't, and get a nice tan.....)
