Huh. I didn't know that she was in poor health. Not sure anyone did.

I think she kept her health concerns pretty private.

From her f/b profile which her husband updated:

Memorial Services in Telluride, Lake Forest and New York. This is Amy's husband, Andy, posting on Amy's page. Amy passed away one week ago. Please join me in celebrating her life, her family, her friends, her passions and her love.
Please join me in any or all of the following celebrations.
- Friday March 31st at 6 PM to 9 PM -- The Peaks Resort & Spa in Mountain Village, CO.
- Saturday May 6th at 2 PM -- The Church of the Holy Spirit in Lake Forest, IL
There will be a 3rd memorial service in the NYC area sometime in May, I don't have a venue yet.
I met Amy in the summer of 1997 and my life has not been the same since. We had many adventures in the nearly 20 years we spent together. Believe me, there was never a dull day! Please come and share your memories, photos, newspaper articles, good times and hard times. If you want to send me pictures or writings you can email me:

*sigh*. Just deactivated her account for the board. She hadn't posted here in a while, but she'd been reading it.

That's a sad milestone to have to pass.

Is anything happening with the cookbook that we were talking about putting together? I am still willing/able to share the recipes that I collected from the board over the years.

I haven't heard anything. For that matter, I'm happy to help get it printed as a book.
