My mom's a good cook, but she doesn't enjoy it and hates "mess" so my sister and I were not welcome in her kitchen. I didn't know how to make much of anything when I left home, but I grew up on and like good food, so I pretty much learned how to cook so that I could eat. I spent too many years in grad school to be able to afford to eat out. |
