Post subject:  Part time job!

I was offered a job last night at an Assisted Living as an emergency call in cook. If needed, I will be cooking Breakfasts to order on Sunday Mornings for about 40 residents. I am to go to the facility this weekend and familiarize myself with the kitchen and staff. I'm pretty excited.

Well that is awesome! You get to do something you enjoy and get paid for it! It also sounds like fun since it will not be everyday. The residense are in for some good grub! :D

Congrats....lucky residents to have someone cooking for them who will actually care about ingredients and flavor.

So happy for you Todd! My first job (at 15 y/o) was in the kitchen of a nursing home, 6:30am to 2pm shift on weekends, and I absolutely LOVED the breakfast shift!

Please be sure to report back!
