Glad to hear everything went well. Now, the fun part.

To give you some incentive, my friend, who got his new knee in early August, came over yesterday and mowed my lawn for me! I can't do that, due to my shoulder (another story), but I can still cook, which he likes!

I am feeling stronger finally. The pain is getting better. It's an unusual pain, more of a burning than and aching. Sometimes it feels like the skin is going to pop open. A little creepy and weird..lol. :o

I have one more week of in home PT then go to an out patient facility for another month. I think it's 3 days a week like the in home.

All in all I am glad to have it over and looking forward to having a strong pain free knee.
I appriciate all the well wishes, it really does help. :D

I am looking forward to our winter vacation. It will be nice to be able to walk a lot and enjoy siteseeing. Did I mention we are going to Texas for a month? We will take a fifth wheel and 2 puppies and travel around the state. Planning on 2 visits with some peeps. Will stay with Deb who some of you met in Chicago. Will spend New Years Eve with her an husband. She is in Illinois and we will spend our first night away with them. And then we will stay in Magnolia TX near Houston with another friend. We have another that is only 20 minutes away and they have never met! Can you amagine living 20 minutes from someone here and never meeting?

I have not met the one we are staying with, but have the other. So it will be fun getting together with the both of them.

It's good to have a goal and somthing to look forward to!
Laurie
