Amy, There hasn't been a post from you in a couple of days, so I was happy to see that you have at least checked in. Stay safe!

I just saw the one of the fires jumped the fire line...please keep us updated, Amy. Meanwhile, I'll do a rain dance for you... (Ilene, Denver isn't near any of the fires, is it?)

Shit, which one? The Weber fire is the one closest to us, and unfortunately it borders wilderness which would be very difficult to fight if it gets up there. Thankfully, Denver is not in the line of any fires. Amy

No Darcie, the actual fires are not close to Denver, but the Flagstaff fire near Boulder is the closest....we have been getting smoke from the northern fires. Last night's coverage of the fire outside of Co Springs ( Waldo Canyon) had us all glued to the TV. One event spot (Flying W Ranch) was something I took our members to when we had our conventions at the Broadmoor. It was a short bus ride up the canyon from the Broadmoor....it was leveled by the fire last night. It is all so hard to watch.

I just saw about the Flagstaff fire. Geez, how much do we have to take?
