Thanks for the nice welcoming, I need to figure out how you get email notification. I certainly recognize many of you from CI, maybe we can settle in here and continue to have the kind of symbiotic relationship we all had on CI.

Thanks again,
Barry

Greeting and welcome Barry. I hope the Superbowl is to your liking and your salsa is to your taste. I too would love to make a great salsa. Years back, a young teller at my local credit union made a salsa that was, simply put, world class. No aging Senorita in Old Mexico or aspiring young La Doña de Cocina would be ashamed to serve it. Decades later I still remember it and wish she would have shared her recipe but it was, sadly, a "family secret". I hope, much like you, one day I'll figure it out, or at least something kinda sorta similar.

Re: email notification - This site does not feature that option; ya just gotta check in to see what's goin' on.
However, it does have a fleet of active and vigilant moderators  keeping away most spammers. Those spammers that get through are usually deleted within a few hours :!: :o

I'm pretty sure if you subscribe to a thread you will get email notifications of replies. Pretty sure.

Yup, subscribing to a thread gets you email notifications :) "Subscribe Topic" just under the "New Topic" button in the general upper left area.

It is also possible to subscribe to an entire forum if you like. There is a link right under the "new topic" button that will send you an e-mail every time a new topic is added to that forum.

Welcome, Barry. Glad you made it over here.

Wow, like old home week, a lot of the regulars from CI seems to have landed here, that is a good thing.

Barry
