Thanks so much, everyone! I have had a great day. I think I mentioned this before, but here it is the responsibility of the birthday boy/girl to provide the party. I made a big pot of wedding soup (an Italian chicken soup with little meatballs, chicken, escarole and egg threads and noodles), meat, cheese. My friends bought the rest, really great roasted sweet potatoes sprinkled with chili and coriander with a sour cream sauce with lime and ginger and lemon grass, an onion tart and greek meatballs with a yogurt dipping sauce. I also made a cranberry apple crumble for dessert. We had a great time, there was waaaay too much food, even though I cut back my original list. I need to learn to get over my fear of not having enough.
