so cool! Did you tell Sarah your Julia story??
Jean,
That was the first question my husband asked me when I got home and of course the answer is NO, can you believe it?? But honestly, I was so thrilled to meet her, and happy that I could at least put intelligible sentences together that I totally forgot to share. I stayed completely in the moment. I know she would have loved to hear about it though. Oh well, I hope there will be another chance!

I love Sara Moulton. I knew the beginning of the end of the Food Network is when they canceled her show.

As a follow-up, I found that Sara had a blog, and sent her a note about enjoying last night and my brief relationship with Julia. She responded w/in the hour.

"Nancy,
Thanks so much for sharing that story - sounds very Julia. She was so interested in everyone else.
Sorry we did not get to chat more, it was a tad intense but I think the evening was very successful.

Warmly,
Sara"

I'm just glowing....

Her show was the best and I agree that canceling her show was a big mistake on behalf of the Food Network.

awww, how nice....I miss Sara. Her show left the Canadian food network before it left the US one. :(
