Nancy,
Thanks for the restaurant suggestions. I will check into all of them. Persian is definitely being added to the list.

If your family lives anywhere near Camero Drive, they probably know about my friends house for Halloween. It takes them 2-3 days to put up all the decorations in their yard. I helped them last year put up some of the decorations and this year I will help them take down the decorations.

Todd,
They do and I've been trick-or-treating on that block many times with my niece and nephew! Small world!!!

We liked Bazaar. I think the chef is Jose Andres. A tapas restaurant

We ended up going to a Vietnamese restaurant on Thursday night and an Indian restaurant for lunch on Saturday afternoon. Both were very good and I was pleasantly surprised by my meal at the Indian restaurant. The Vietnamese restaurant is very close to my friend's house and I have a feeling they will be going there again as the food was excellent.

I used to lunch often at an Indian restaurant in downtown Portland. Love, love, love that food.
