SInce my friend picked up the check on Tuesday for Sushi, I took him to a Wine Bar last night. This place features small plates and quite an extensive wine list. Mark had Glass of White which he really liked. I was driving, so I had water. For our small plates we had the Olive Oil Trio, Hurricane Shrimp and Poutine. The Trio consisted of Smoked Garlic Oil, Olives and Oil, and Parmesan and Herbs Oil. It was served with French Bread on a very long bread board with the three oils in the middle. It was a fun presentation. The Hurricane Shrimp were large Shrimp Wrapped with Lo Mein Noodles and then deep fried. They were served on a stone plate and drizzled with a Sweet and Spicy Red sauce which was very good. The Poutine was made with thin Cut fries and drizzled with a Short Rib Gravy and Cheese Curds and topped with an egg. Dessert consisted of Mini Pumpkin Whoopie Pies and a Peanut Butter Mousse Cup.
The interior of the restaurant was set up with couches and tables. The couches and chairs were all in Dark Brown Leather. The Tables were varied in dark woods and types. There was a fireplace and a few intimate places where you could sit and drink as well as a bar. The only thing we didn't like about the place was the Gray Cement Floor. It wasn't the right type of floor to go with the rest of the Decor. It just seemed cold compared to the rest of the place.

I know. I think it's a silly name, but that is the name of the place.
