Had a very good and interesting ice cream tonight at an Armenian restaurant (Diana’s) in Fresno, it was pistachio, saffron, and rose-water. Very good

Frank,

Sounds good. There's an ice cream place in SF which regularly stocks those kind of flavors. Xanath, the same place people on the board order saffron and vanilla from.

I'm going to have to try that!

I make saffron chocolates...most people don't realize how good it is as a flavor in sweet foods.

Amy,

Saffron-ginger is also an excellent combination, as is Saffron-cardamom.

I "might" get to try it...got word this week that I may need to look at something at the NASA Research Center in Mountain View...nothing firm yet. :)

Edit: HOLY COW! This guy has 120 metric TONS of vanilla beans in stock in his warehouses!
