I really wish more of you lived nearby...at least ones who like peppers! I have so many peppers this season that I left some of them out there for neighbors and friends at work to take as they wish - there are just far more than I would ever use! I always dry more than I can use in a year, and this year I'll freeze a double year's worth (still don't know when I'll be getting the shoulder fixed, and it may be when I would be planting in the spring, so I have to plan for the worst!), and I'll still have far more than I can use! Fortunately, there are two markets that will barter with me, so the lime leaves (I have one tree taller than I am!) and peppers have somewhere to go.

I've also had some good amounts of tomatoes this season, as well as eggplants, but nothing like the peppers, due to the heat.

Dave,
You might want to try dilling or pickling some of your peppers just because you have so many. They would be great in a Bloody Mary. A mixture of different colored peppers would look very cool in a jar.

My mother fries hot peppers in olive oil and then cans them. Fantastic.

That would really be good with those starfish peppers, due to their appearance.
