We went to see Keillor on Thursday night as part of his book tour for his book of poetry, O, What a Luxury. I heartily recommend the book; the title is also the title of the poem we bought it for ... his sonnet about urination (yes, really).

Anyway, he also likes limericks:

A vegan with nothing to do
Picked up a sandwich to chew.
He took a big bite,
and cried out in fright:
"OMG! WTF? BBQ!"

Urgh, I worry about that. I had vegetarian get a mini scotch egg almost in her mouth thinking it was a falafel last January. With all the noise and food smells she didn't smell the sausage. I yelled (in full on Teacher Voice) at her to put it DOWN from across the room. The whole party stopped for second. :( Her husband was happy to have it though.

I love Keillor and have most of his books. I'm one of those old birds who sits in the car listening to his program until it's over before I go into the store. He's a wonderful personality, one of the best for our time.
