Just got my catalogue -- when did WS care more about selling food than kitchen equipment -- there must be a 90 -10 ratio of prepared food to equipment. I feel like they have a devil and an angel on their shoulders -- the angel saying we'll help you cook and make the best food possible, with the devil saying forget cooking, just spend outrageous amounts of money on already made food, (cue evil laugh). Sad...

Lindsay,

I haven't gotten The Great Catalog Of $30 Brownies yet. I'm looking forward to it; expect a write-up.

Agree, Lindsay. Love WS store, looking thru catalog BUT marketing-marketing-marketing... which is everywhere anyway.

I must have received a different version of the catalog. Mine is 90% product/10% food, not counting recipes, which are ultimately designed to sell product.

I've got to say I prefer the style of layout they've moved to. It's more like a magazine, e.g., large product hero shots. While there are a few miscues, e.g., reversing the type on a busy background shot, the look is as much about selling the WS brand as it is products.

Haven't actually been in our store lately, do love browsing. Yrs ago got all my Apilco dinner ware there. Happy that Bonavita brewer arrvd today but steroid I'm taking dulled taste buds---haven't tasted coffee, anything else for 3 days! Hope can taste the bourbon in the swt pots fixing tomorrow or I'm in trouble (I do measure BUT little dif every time). Heck, I want to taste the Turkey, dressing, fresh cranberry salad and OH the pecan pie!
