I remember as a kid having a Green Jello Mold with Celery and Carrots and it being served with Mayonnaise. This was the salad part of the meal. |

Other than okra or brussel sprouts, there is little more I loathe and detest than jello. Ugggghhhh. All that slimey, gooey "stuff" going down my throat. Oh, gag. I do however, love my kid. So, when he found a recipe in a magazine for "Ambrosia," and insisted we make it for Easter, I acquiesced. Here it is now: http://www.kraftrecipes.com/recipes/ambrosia-mold-55321.aspx I bought a butterfly mold at a yard sale. He's married now, so now it's his and his wife's problem. |
