Interesting Ivy. The error message I'm getting is:

Quote:
Server Error in '/ibb' Application.
--------------------------------------------------------------------------------
The resource cannot be found.

Description: HTTP 404. The resource you are looking for (or one of its dependencies) could have been removed, had its name changed, or is temporarily unavailable. Please review the following URL and make sure that it is spelled correctly.

Requested URL: /ibb/categoryindex.aspx

Nancy

If you try to go to a page within ibb, you'll get that message. If you stop at http://www.cooksillustrated.com/ibb/ you'll get the upgrade message.

That is odd. My message says....

Quote:
We're sorry.
The Cooks Illustrated Bulletin Board is offline while we clean up 30,000 cans of spam that arrived while we were off playing in Vermont. Please check back tomorrow, next week, or next month because we are completely clueless about long it will take to clean up this mess.

Becky only picked up one lousy can before she was off to the test kitchen to work on Spam lettuce wraps. Erin is perfecting weeknight Spam Tacos, and Julia is hoping that she can work up a recipe for Spam and cornbread stuffing in time for Thanksgiving.

We apologize for the inconvenience and thank you for your patience

Okay, I have now sworn to never read another Cookaholics posting while simultaneously sipping my coffee. I have finished cleaning my screen and I have changed my shirt.  :o

I'm thinking that this may be the death knell for the BB over there (sudden disappearance of the BB due to "unforeseen circumstances").

Jim,
I do hope you will submit your posting to CI/ATK under the category of "Lost Recipes."

I'll be surprised if that happens. As I type, the IT department & others are probably trying to squeeze the money out of CK to upgrade and keep it going. At the risk of sounding self-important, it seems they collect data and ideas from the postings on that BB. Case in point, knife skills class being hastily added after many members asked for it.
