Those look awesome Lu! I love brown eyed baker too. Highly recommend her zucchini and corn fritters |

Great to hear from you, Lu! BTW, have the rains and flooding affected you? |

Mahalo! We haven't been hit with much rain here in Lahaina...Lord knows we need it...it's been really hot and humid. Planning to make Peanut Butter Cookies from CI...it's a winner....I've been searching high and low for a great PB cookie and CI is the best. Thanks again for letting me share! |

Wow, all of those look great, humidity or not! I'm surprised to see a failure in Deb's recipes. Did you comment on her blog? |

Wow, those are beautiful, Lu. So nice to see some of your handiwork again! And thanks for the recipe notes. I had actually thought about trying BEB's cinnamon buns recipe so am glad to know about the sweetness. But actually your pain au chocolat looks like the best thing ever. And actually I had a fail not too long ago from SK. It was her lemon poppyseed cake. Way too many poppyseeds for us -- they overpowered the other flavors. Anyway, please keep the pics coming, Lu! Thanks Emilie! Sorry to hear about the Poppy Seed Cake. Jaden loved the Pain Au Chocolat...still needs some tweaking but it was good. I used dark and semi-sweet Callebaut Pistoles. Jaden didn't like the "winey-ness" of the dark chocolate. I will also lower the temp since they came out a tad too dark. Fuzzy, mahalo, I didn't leave a comment on her blog. I figured lots of people enjoyed the Babka on her website, maybe it was just me? I was born and raised in NYC and I know good Babka....this was not good Babka. My search continues.....saw Martha Stewart recipe and that is way to rich and over the top for me. Lu |
