Our outdoor kitchen is just about done. If you recall we started it in the late summer 2 years ago. It has been an ongoing process. So 2.5 years later we'll have it done.

We went with both 12x12 tiles and some decorative glass tiles for the counter tops. I would like to add a couple big pots of herbs and maybe a bench beside the grill.

Here are a couple pictures.

That's seriously nifty! When is the Cookaholics summer BBQ and chili roundup happening? I have early July off, and some of August, too.

I really envy you. It would be so nice to cook outside sheltered from the blazing sun and pouring rain!

Lovely! We are pouring an extension onto our patio over the next few weeks and are planning a kitchen with an outdoor fireplace for next year. Would have been this year but the roof decided to disintegrate and took a lot of the landscaping budget. I'm going to show hubby your pictures, he wants open air pergola style, whereas I want something that we can sit under without having to pull some sort of awning as they don't last and leak.

Laurie,

So, have you been cooking in the outdoor kitchen this summer? Pics?
