I couldn't find the dinner menu thread- my search-fu is weak tonight.
But I did manage to braise a pork loin in milk, with sage, garlic and lemon. It turned out great. The spinach gnocchi, not so good. Too much spinach, not enough binder. They came apart when they hit the hot water. What's the best way to stiffen the mix? Since the grated Parm and eggs are in there I doubt that cooking it with more flour would work out well.
I also did a small turkey breast from Aldi's in the same pot, but haven't tasted it yet.
I was quite astounded when I noticed that the packaging read " may be up to 20% solution"! I only used this one because I wanted a small piece to try out. The recipe seemed it might work well with turkey breast, but I didn't need to cook 6 pounds of it.
