We had Quiche Lorraine a couple weeks ago for the first time in a very long and decided that it need make more regular dinner stops at our house.

Our favorite is a Sausage. apple, cheddar, and walnut "Country Quiche" with less custard and more "stuff" than many. Based on the publication date of the cookbook, it has been making return visits for almost 30 years.

As per usual I completely blanked on the day and was travelling home. However, by coincidence my son had chicken pot pie at Cracker Barrel and my hubby made pizza pies for dinner. ;)
We like an asparagus/roasted red pepper/goat cheese combo in quiche. Kids like ham and broccolli.

So, no key limes at the grocer's. On the other hand, we had these Meyer lemons grown in a friend's backyard, and a lot of them, so: Meyer Lemon Pie.

Notice how neatly I'm cutting it into 6.2824 pieces!

I made cookies with the pi sign on them for my daughter's math class. Then without meaning to exactly... made chicken pot pies for dinner.

For dessert though: angel food cake with cranberry/raspberry fool
