As requested this is the recipe I used. It is from Grady Spears "The Texas Cowboy Kitchen"

Texas Port Jelly

2 Cups Port
3 Cups Sugar
1 T Lime Juice
2 Cinnamon Sticks
3 Ounces Liquid Fruit Pectin

Combine port, sugar, lime juice, & cinnamon sticks together in a large heavy saucepan & bring to a boil.

Boil for 2 minutes, stirring, & remove from heat.

Add pectin, mixing well.

Cool mixture & transfer to 3 sterilized jars, seal, & store. Yields 3-8 oz jars.

Recommends serving on a hot buttermilk biscuit, but says it goes well on pork chops, & roasted chicken as well.
