Well it is in the freezer and that part tastes quite lush. I cut the recipe in half as it is not so lodge like here. Now all I need is some rum! Mary |

Hi, The Barbadian poem reads, "One of sour, two of sweet, three of strong and four of neat." The purpose is a rum punch; reduce the neat for a cocktail. It would be a highjack to mention my love for dark rum drinks, and so I will. I crave a Painkiller, Dark 'N Stormy, Tom & Jerry, MaiTai, or almost any drink with falernum. Do we need a new thread. Yes you do have to find some run. This stuff is quite drinkable. I gave my butcher my recipe for Italian sausage and he made me 16 kilos of it, 11 of which goes to friends. I am bribing them to come pick it up with hot buttered rum. It is working well but hope I can survive these boozy afternoons. Mary |
