Wine Spectator has a vintage chart, which I find handy. However, It presumes you have a fairly good knowledge of wines, e.g., you know left-bank reds from your right-bank ones, so it's not the best tool for everyone. Also, it tends to collapse regions into a single view by year, which for a region like Piedmont doesn't really do it justice given the number of varietals they grow. Amy |

I have one for my iphone that scans the barcodes and links to reviews, but half the time there are either no matches to the wine's barcode, or no reviews available, so I've given up using it. I think it's cor.kz. I bought a wine enthusiast ap too, but didnt find it that helpful either. Might be where I happen to be, but not much which is in the store seems to be listed in their reviews. |
