7 out of 10 but I disagree with one of them (Sauvignon Blanc goes well with nothing, IMO). ;)

8 out of 10, but to be honest I feel I know nothing about wine except what I learned from my wait and bartending days. I don't like wine and very seldom drink it with anything.

Okayyyyy, I got 9. Really. I haven't even heard of one of those wines and I know I've only tasted half. I just picked whichever food seemed least like the others in the list.

Seems like one of those tests that tests your test-taking skills rather than your knowledge. I bet people who actually know wine are like -- "Well, certain Pinot noirs go well with a salmon skin roll, so that can't be it..."

Wino,

I am also perfect. But, I am wondering how we disagreed on two questions?

Tim - WONDERFUL article :!: :D
I especially disagree with their first question wherein they ask about what 'most' people know about pairing and they pass on the red wine and fish fight and select something like 'fair wine with fair food'. I was raised hearing the first, have had it addressed at international wine symposia, etc. ad nauseum and have never heard of the second phrase.

I must go pull a cork  :o :D

I did the test but then couldn't remember my answers to figure out my wine savvy-ness. I just ask the guy at the wine shop, he makes me look good.

I stopped taking the quiz when I ran across "Munter cheese".

Not only does the above phrase make me realize how little thought went into the quiz, it made me realize that the entire quiz was ripped off, wholesale, from Slashfood.com.
