All,

Yes, Todd suggested a Vegas weekend. This year seems to be the year to go, since Vegas traffic is at an all time low and there are many deals to be had.

Josh,

Your right...in spite of Nascar & the National Rodeo Finals going on right now, not many folks here, I went to the strip tonight for the first time for dinner (Daniel Boulund / Wynn Hotel) and there were lots of empty chairs in the casinos.

They are closing the main drag tomorrow and the Nascar boys are going to race up and down the strip for fun...should be interesting ;)

After Thanksgiving and before Christmas is a very slow time in LasVegas anyway. Just to let you know how slow it is, I am getting free room offers for Days in December and January and some of the dates are even Friday and Saturday nights. I never get an offer for a free night on a Saturday because I am low roller.

Todd,

Well, do you still want to organize a CI/CH meetup in Vegas? Nobody stepped forward to help, so I'm not doing one in SF.

I haven't thought about it at all, because I am organizing a get together of a different nature on another board that I frequent.
