Hi all, we are taking a quick anniversary trip to the hotel we got married in before the holiday and in-law madness starts next week. Everyone have a great weekend and T-day if I don't get online before then!

I hope Key Largo is far enough south to miss the cold front coming through Florida for Thanksgiving. It's due here on Wednesday - will you be back by then?

Have fun!

Fun!

There used to be a place in Key Largo where you could pay to swim with friendly dolphins.

We had a nice time - we ate at several of our local favorite places and shared a bunch of different homemade snacks and drinks.

We missed the cold front but we had terrific storms on Sunday and Monday nights. Sunday was gale-force, and we watched it from under a tiki with an electric blender and a some provisions to keep us warm.

It was a great trip until a 10 pound piece of concrete fell on my heel and took some of me with it last night. :/ Grocery shopping with a limp is going to be fun. No more climbing on places I shouldn't be at my age. I should know better by now.

Glad you had a nice time, but the heel injury sounds really painful. Lots and lots of Advil...

Lisa,

Ouch!

Cut-to-fit medical pads are your friend ...

Yes, I am all wrapped up and medicated. Got to try out the motorized cart in the grocery store yesterday, which was interesting. ;)
