Can anyone suggest a great place where I should point Harrison? He's a steak and sushi kind of guy, but open minded about all new food.

Crystal,
Recommendations really depend on how much Harrison is comfortable spending. My immediate thought is a good seafood resy, The Blue Fin, in the W Hotel @47th Street but it can be pricey. There's also City Lobster & Steak, 121 West 49th (between 7th/6th Ave).

Nancy,
Thank you, I'll pass those on to him. He's trying to reserve for Thursday. He's doing a student leadership program at Yale(law and advocacy, so easy bake was right!) and Times Square is an excursion. He's got mom's credit card, so I would like to keep it within reason, under $100 for a really nice meal, assuming they'll have lunch there, but it might be early dinner.

Crystal,
My vote is City Lobster. They have great lunch specials, it's a very relaxed atmosphere, and has a nice selection of tap beer (if he likes that). It just seems more fitting for a college student. Blue Fin is more of a business atmosphere.

There's also Ruby Foo's (49th and Broadway), Asian-Fusian/American and it too is very reasonable. Same owner as Blue Fin (Steve Hanson). Food is reliable, good, and generous portions.

I hope Harrison enjoys his excursion! Lucky boy to have Mom's cc ;) , & the heat should be breaking by Thursday!
