Thanks, I will file it away for my next trip. I didn't provide a list back but are some places we had great meals:

Room 11 - Columbia Heights - old fashioned cocktails with a lot of house made ingredients. Somewhat hipster pretentious, but darn good drinks. www.room11dc.com
Ethopic - H Street Corridor - Ethiopian, which was the number 1 thing I wanted to eat there because we don't have any Ethiopian restaurants in South Florida.
MatchBox - Chinatown - Coal fired pizza, but we had a great brunch there. matchboxchinatown.com

Ate here this evening, had the hanger steak, brussel sprouts, Mac & cheese and strawberry tart.

Everything was excellent.

I love Michel Richard. Eating at one of his restaurants is definitely on my bucket list.
