Due to Russian holiday this week Consulate closed, visa delayed looks like we leave the 29th, may end up going thru Helsinki.

Should you not go through Helsinki my friend came up with a list of places.

these are the restaurants we frequent, with ron blaauw being at the highest end with 2 michelin stars. pricey, of course.

Ohhhh Mary....Going to Barcelona, Seville and Madrid (with some places in between, but not the Rioja region, sadly) in September. Do you or anyone you know have restaurant suggestions? Anyone else here have ideas/ recs? TIA

Glad you will be in A-dam, my source is good. Also I am happy you got your paperwork sorted Out.

Nancy, I am sure I must know someone, let me think. I was in Barecelona a few years ago and loved it but no one saved the card from the amazing fish restaurant we went to. Fantastic food though. I still dream about patatas bravas.

Back home from A-Dam...it was "interesting" to say the least...was there this past Sunday and enjoyed a nice lunch at http://www.bistrotneuf.nl/ Ron Blaauw was closed. Dinner was veal ribs at Toro Dorado. http://www.beststeak.eu/
