I liked Pappa's restaurant at the Docks when they were open. It's too bad they closed.

Updates for restaurants for Ft Lauderdale. My friend who lives there just returned from a weeks vacation. His suggestions are:

Sublime, which is vegetarian.

Chima Brazilian Steakhouse, Greek Isles Taverna and Casablanca. If you go to the Greek Isles and order Saganaki, do not expect them to flame it at the tables. It's not allowed.
