Hi all,

Thinking of going to Paris sometime next Spring and hoping to take a cooking class for a few days while there. The content isn't as critical as the quality of the teaching. Because my high school French is very limited(!), the class has to be taught in English. Paris suburbs would work as well. Thanks for any suggestsions or leads!

We used Cook'n With Class about a year and a half ago with Marygott. We took the morning market class - it's geared toward giving the visitor to Paris a taste of the markets. The class visits a series of shops on a particular market street and plans a menu based on what's available. Class size is limited to six. Very highly rated at TripAdvisor - it's the #1 rated "attraction."

Photos from the markets & cooking are here:

On the other hand if you're looking for something more intensive, Le Cordon Bleu has short-term classes for enthusiasts.

I loved the class too. It is very well done and you get a peek into Parisean life. Plenty of wine too. How did you forget that Pete?

Thank you so much! The Cook'n with Class seems to be the favorite amongst friends that we are meeting there so I think we'll be signing up as soon as we figure out when we're going. Again, thanks for your help!

Update - looks like we're doing both cooking schools!
