Saw this on the news....they said the wait was about 3 hours. Why would anyone wait that long? I would take one look at that line and go somewhere else in an instant. (that is if I was even interested in a fast food burger)

Five Guys is better...

I was staying at a hotel across the street when they opened the first Krispy Kreme in the Minneapolis area (might have been the first in MN). Sort of the same as the video except at 5 AM.

The zoo for the opening Friday of the Heart Attack Grill in Dallas was even more insane - especially given their premise and operating philosophy........but some people will flock to anything that's hyped enough.

I've been to the five guys in allen. It was very very good. I'll admit, while I was there, I ever so slightly wished it was a In-and-Out burger (and next time in Allen I'll go there), but not *nearly* that much.

The FIL had never been to Five Guys (in spite of living in Allen). He's a fairly big fella, so he asks for their 'largest' burger. My admonition to stick to the standard burger (he is also a pretty macho fella) fell on deaf ears. I think he was satisfied :) My wife decided to figure out how to get a smaller meal next time. You americuns are nuts on portion sizes!
