Frank,

Possibly the only town in Oregon I haven't eaten in. Sorry!

I'll have time for lunch in Eugene, Dinner will be in Portland, that opens up considerable options, the girls get VooDoo Doughnuts delivered!

Yes,

Yelp has a few suggestions for both Eugene and Portland.

Frank,

Ok, great!

See if you can get a reservation at Higgins in Portland. It's totally worth it. Or Le Pigeon. Or Nostrana. And Papa Haydn for dessert! (warning, very popular)

Also, if you don't already have a hotel in Portland ... Hotel Deluxe. They have a "Make It So" button on the phone!

Papa's Soul Food Kitchen...Mmmm

http://www.yelp.com/biz/papas-soul-food-kitchen-eugene

Had BBQ Yard Bird, Collard Greens, Red Beans & Rice, Cornbread (little too sweet for my liking) Had 12 tables inside, a few more outside but a little too chilly tonight.
