Wino....me either. There is just never too much wine. :-)

So, I'm hosting Easter. I'm going to do a boneless leg of lamb and a small pot roast since I'm not 100% sure my sister in law's family will eat lamb. Shredded brussel sprouts, spinach salad, zucchini fritters, rice balls, glazed carrots and probably roasted green beans. I've already made vanilla ice cream, making chocolate today and will make cocoa brownies and choc.chip cookies for dessert. Maybe Bouchon's oatmeal raisin too.

Jean,

How'd it go?

That spread sounds amazing, Josh. Glazed carrots have been one of my go-to sides for years. People always rave over them and they are so easy. And I'd love a reliable recipe for zucchini fritters. When I've tried to make them at home they've just been average.

As it happens, Just last night I had a hankering for Bouchon's oatmeal raisin cookies. I'm pulling out the cookbook now!

Went well. They all ate the lamb so I was able to freeze half of the pot roast for another meal. I marinated the boneless leg with red wine and lemon juice after rubbing it with a mix of garlic, salt, chopped rosemary and lemon zest.
I had some no knead dough in the fridge so made 2 potato and onion pizzas for appetizers which they loved.
Emilie, I make these, I do add some baking powder (hint from smitten kitchen) and feel it makes them better. http://www.foodnetwork.com/recipes/food ... ers-recipe
They are always a big hit.

The oatmeal raising cookies are always well received too. I'm totally in love with roasted brussel sprouts although I also did a bunch shredded and sauted as hubby prefers them that way.
