Happy New Year EVeryone! So far 2017 has brought......... Sewer backup, heater core went out in our sons car, and the doctor upped my blood pressure meds........Mmmmmmm

I'm still going to be optimistic for a better year!!!!

It's minus 17ยบ here this morning with a foot of snow on the ground.

Jeez, we are a sad bunch. I am have a Doctor's appointment on Tuesday that I am not looking forward to. I hope things get better for all of us soon!

It hasn't been great so far here either. My whole family was taken down by the flu over Christmas (despite flu shots). I'm only immune (sort of) because I already had it in September (it took 6 weeks to shake the cough - I've never had anything like it). My dad is on day 14 and still has a terrible cough, everyone else is a bit behind.

Since last year started out great and ended up fairly terrible, I'm hoping that this year does the opposite.
