Oh, there's a part of me that wishes I was into it, if only for the chance to call Buffalo wings, nachos grande, and beer a meal once a year. ;)

JB,

Even adults can become football fans. When Andy and I got married, he married into a football family, and had to learn about the game. He really had no choice about it, but he loves it now, and he's pretty knowledgeable. Heck, he was the one who suggested we splurge and get tickets to the AFC Championship game. Both of us had a blast!

Not a fan of team sports. Would love to attend another major tennis tournament. Stayed up all night to watch the Australian Open and will do the same for Wimbledon and French Open.

Superbowl day I'll meet a couple of friends for lunch and then go shopping. The stores will be deserted. We've been doing this for years.

Amy,

Adults can become hardcore gamers, too. Let me know if you'd like to see my epic HOMMIII Minecraft build.

I can't get into the sports thing either. JB, you should listen to the Judge John Hogman podcast. He shares our interest in organized sports.

I can get into parties though, so I will gladly cheer along and munch on wings. I have no idea what an epic HOMMIII Minecrart build is but, if you have beer and snacks, count me in.

My oldest had to do a model island last year and did it on minecraft. It was unbelievable, he put in hotels, house, a roller coaster and a merry go round plus a whole bunch of other things. I still don't quite get the concept, especially when he gets upset about having his diamonds or chests raided. Do I need to know your server in order to see your build?

re - Superbowl - I won't watch but may do pizza and wings if it doesn't interfere with the hockey schedule for the boys. I haven't quite looked at Sunday's sched yet.

Jean,
I play (or should say played -- not so much time now with a toddler) on a small private server that my husband hosts. The other players decided they wanted to restart the world a couple of years ago, and I really haven't had time to build much on it. I still have the old world as a file if you are interested.

Mary,
Sadly the traditional food of gaming is cheese powder-covered corn products and Mountain Dew. The last time I had the luxury of playing 'til my eyes bled, I made a batch of CI's crescent roll dough, rolled up some hot dogs, parbaked them, and froze them. I subsisted off that for the better part of a week. :o  What can I say? Gaming is the only thing that will make me forget to eat.
