We make a traditional Norwegian Rommegrot on Christmas morning. It was actually why I bought my previously
mentioned, worthless battery-operated stirring thingy. This recipe is mainly cream, sour cream, milk and a bit of flour which is
cooked and stirred for about and hour and a half until the buttter separates. The butter is poured on top along with cinnamon and sugar. It's very rich but we love it.
I thought the grands might enjoy these little Santas as well Sorry I don't know how to post a photo here.
The filling I'm using is cream cheese, powdered sugar and vanilla. Deb

You obviously don't know my messages well enough. Truly, I meant what I said.

I thought they were cute too. What are the eyes made of?

Sorry if I was a bit wary.
I think this one has chocolate sprinkles but I've seen others with chocolate frosting for eyes, mouth and buttons. Deb

Deb,

Oh, we love Rommegrot. Which is why I've never made it -- it's basically a heart attack in a bowl. Almost worth it though.
