We just added deviled eggs. We have almost 5 dozen eggs right now from our chickens.

I'm now craving deviled eggs.

Sigh...

Just finished making the pita and two of the dips. I think I finally have a winner for pita bread recipes; these are wonderfully fluffy flatbreads, almost as good as Joseph's in Hollywood.

I just took the last of the two pies (pumpkin custard and pecan) out of the oven. I also just set the table, only to find out that Cost Plus shorted me a dinner napkin. RAGE.

Breathe...

Nothing you can do about it right now, so don't sweat it.

Yep. Fortunately the tablecloth has a bit of red, so out come the Christmas napkins. The really irritating part is that the closest Cost Plus is 90 mins away, so I won't even bother trying to return them. :/

We are having a very small gathering, just four people, so I'm keeping it simple. Chicken galantine, homemade green bean casserole, cran-apple sauce, mashed potatoes, pumpkin pie. I might make a pecan pie too, but I haven't decided yet.

Just doing half a meal -- My sister is doing the other half. Mashed potatoes, biscuit stuffing, sweet potato casserole with marshmallows ('cause I've just always wanted to, that's why! Bwahaha!) pies and ice cream. I might make some rolls as well.

My dad is at my brother's in NY so my mom is not making thanksgiving dinner here (we had the Canadian one in October) but we are going to her place tonight anyway for polenta and (brown) gravy. A favourite of my boys but not mine, am envying the meals here!

I am making a sausage calzone. We did Thanksgiving a couple weeks ago with friends. You can copy and paste last years menu, it was fantastic though. Happy Thanksgiving to you all!

I'm eating a snowman cookie with my Starbucks latte in celebration with you all (we celebrated our Thanksgiving in October). It was nice to see that the balloons weren't cancelled for the Macy's Thanksgiving Day Parade.
