So I am making chopped liver, apricot stuffed lamb and a kugel of pineapple and orzo in a coconut milk custard. It's gong to be a good Seder. We might even have some Jewish people there besides me and mom!

Happy Passover! We went out to dinner last night with my in-laws where shrimp, meat in cream sauce and multiple leavened things were devoured. My Jews aren't very Jew-y.

I'll say!

Reminds me of the year I tried to make bagels during passover. They didn't rise; were flat as crackers. Some instant divine retribution, nu?

I always forget how much more to Pescach dinner there is beyond the dinner proper. There are the nibbles before the Seder proper, there are the things you eat as part of the Seder, and then the menu must include gefilite fish, eggs in salt water and chicken soup with matzoh balls. So we alwys end up with way too much lamb and other goodies.
But the chocolate souffles came out very well.
