So sorry I screwed up my link Mary but sounds like you didn't need it anyway. The menu sounds wonderful.

Thanks. It is set for teenagers so it is more a case of reining in my ambitions than anything else. No quail eggs this time.

Mary

PS I forgot to tell you I saw flavored jarred quail eggs in the store and they looked really good, I didn't want to gag at all.

Mary,

First off, it's startling to realize that by the time my mother was my age, I was in high school.

Second, I'm amused to hear that Swiss teenagers have the same kinds of graduations American ones do. Is she going to rent a limo with her friends? ;-)

Thirdly, about the chocolate fountain ... vinyl tablecloth. Tile/linoleum floor. Seriously.

Fuzzy
My daughter went to an international high school so they do an ex-pat version of the American graduation. A tiny prom, class trip to Spain and caps and gowns. The Swiss do not make much over graduations.
Good tip for the fountain. I do have a tile floor and a friendly dog. I only own a couple table cloths and generally don't use them.

The fountain is now in my house and it says it takes 3-5 pounds of chocolate to flow properly. Gack. The kid damn well better not complain about wiping the drool off my (still amazingly youthful looking) chin in 30 years.

Mary,

In case you weren't aware, dark chocolate is very, very bad for dogs.

Yes I am aware of that Amy. He doesn't get any but I am sure that much won't go on the floor.
We are quite careful with his diet but I do feel rather stupid shelling out a small fortune for premium lamb and rice dog food when I see him chomping down horse shit or a 3 day old dead rat. He also has his own dermatologist and requires an array of pills, sprays and shampoos to get him through allergy season. Even if we didn't all love him dearly (which we do), we have WAY too much invested in him at this stage to poison the poor old dear.

Hear ya sistah...three-day old anything is the most attractive meal a dog could ask for.

So.....your dogs all have Golden Retriever in 'em? (Hard to believe they're still alive with the uh.....carrion they consume.)

Mine is pure Swiss mutt. He once drank a liter of oil that I used to fry stuff in a wok and then put out back to cool off and promptly forgot. 24 hours of extreme cleansing followed and then he had the worlds shiniest coat. He did once eat an entire batch of dark chocolate dipped cookies I had cooling with no problem whatsoever. Buy a lesser dog food though and it is, well lets just say atmospherically unpleasant.
