I read and read about this and common wisdom says that washed eggs, as they are in Canada/US, should be stored in the fridge as it washes off a protective coating. If the eggs are not washed, they may be left out.

That said, I couldn't find a single authoritative source to back that up. Maybe someone can come up with one. Lacking a good source, I can't attach much credibility to it, especially since the protective coating and the mechanism by which it protects always come across as very vague.

I'm serving Easter dinner on Saturday due to our guests schedules. Dinner is Spiral Glazed Ham, Roasted Baby Artichokes, Hassleback Potatoes, and Raspberry Clafoutis for dessert.

A bonus is the weather will be warmish and sunny - yay!

Happy holiday weekend to all who celebrate...

Sounds yummy! We are having my parent's 50th anniversary party on Saturday and I'm making a rib roast on Sunday for my parents, Chris and the boys. Wanted to make lamb but left it too late to find it at my store last night. Will make yorkshire pudding, brussel sprouts, asparagus and baked sweet potatoes.
