That sucks. I know how hard it is when you're laying there in the maternity ward and they come take that bassinet out so it doesn't depress you. I hope everything turns out okay for your friend, too.

The condition has been diagnosed. The baby has pulmonary hypertension. You can read about it here.

The baby is being airlifted as I type this to Denver Children's Hospital, one of the finest children's hospitals in the world.

Please pray for him. My friends sound okay, but I'm sure they are dying inside. This is their first child.

That sounds horrible, I am sure they are scared to death and probably in shock. They are lucky to be able to be near such a good hospital and from what i read, there sounds like there have been great advances in fixing this problem but still... They are also so lucky to have you for a friend, I am sure whatever the outcome they will need a lot of support in the days to come. I wish them all the best.
