Geekboy has to work that afternoon, but I am making a Valentine's breakfast -- Stuffed French Toast Casseroles (in the aforementioned heart-shaped ramekins), bacon (nothing says "love" like bacon), and Lover's Lane Fruit Salad.

Thanks Amy! We usually don't go all Hallmark-y, but this year why not? I'm echoing Nancy, every day is a blessing.
And Nancy, congratulations to you and Russ! Yay! What great news!

Happy Valentine's Day Guys!

Rod and I are off utving. Fried shaved ham croissants, snacks, and a big ole thermos of hot chocolate. Y'all think I live in the boonies-were going to a friends farm, and there isn't even cell service there in many places!

Mmmmmmmm. Stuffed french toast.

No such thing for us. Today is a workday. I'm on my way to a four-hour meeting right now.

I'm not sure what's for dinner - either carbonara (if the pancetta is ready) or fajitas. Either way, not incredibly romantic but yummy. However, DH wrote me a poem and gave me my favorite chocolates. Yeah, he's a keeper.

Congratulations Nancy and Jenny. We went skiing this morning, and are having lobster tonight.

Darcie, a poem is sooooo cool. mr. trink would never, ever do anything like that . . . although he's also a keeper.
