Here's one that is for people with too much money and a lot of counterspace:

Finally, a frother that REALLY works. I've waited my whole life for one... and only $129.95

You sell it short. It's an induction milk frother. Made more complicated by its aluminum and plastic construction. Now how much would you pay? ;)

Bodum has one that works great or, in a pinch, use a whisk. The milk frother on my ridiculously expensive espresso machine works great though. What can I say, I had a tad extra counter space.

I use my stick blender for frothing - you just have to be sure to have a large enough vessel.

Your espresso machine does not fall into the same category by any means - if I had the $$ and counter space I would so have a really good espresso machine with the bells & whistles.

But what fun is hands free frothing? Spoilsports!

Induction frother? So it burns the milk and froths it at the same time? Amazing!

I really don't get this whole frother industry. Isn't that what the little metal tube thing sticking out the side of the espresso machine is for? Why are people buying extra tools for this? And if you don't have an espresso machine, what's the point of a frother?

Or are people just bringing the Starbucks experience home, and drinking straight frothed milk with flavor syrup? One strawberry-milkshake-mocha-chino comining right up!

(Note: The Fuzzy drinks his espresso straight up)

I use my frother for cappucini BUT it also makes a great hot chocolate and chai tea latte. Notice the Italian pluralization. So Eurotrash.

Actually the ridiculously expensive coffee machines are fairly common place here but people tend not to have many appliances here. When you don't have the turkey fryer, wok burner, waffle iron etc, the financial outlay is less. Sadly, I want it all.

Perhaps MJ could find a use for it here-

"I have Hershey's cocoa, Nestle Cocoa, and Penzey's natural cocoa in addition to my many XL tubs of Fry's (dutched)."

From her boast post re the many products in her pantry that she has forgotten the reason for purchase.

I've decided her intent is to "Crystallize" herself. Only problem is that Crystal was so nice.
