Chris is going to Penzeys for me in Virginia...yay! Although the Buffalo location has certainly made my life easier and I was just there in May so this trip is for kicks (and guilt since he left me alone while the kids are away).
I'm getting these, none of which I've tried before:
4S Special Seasoned Sea Salt 4.0 oz. 1/2 cup jar $3.45
Black and Red Spice 4 oz. bag $6.15
Chicken Taco Seasoning 4 oz. bag $6.65

I love the black and red, it is perfect to spice up veg, chicken or steaks.

DH loves the 4S, I get him the smoked one. Just got my Penzey's order today. They are having free shipping offer, so I got Mural of Flavor, Raspberry Enlightenment, shallot pepper, anise seed (for a CI test recipe), and sweet paprika. Love that there was a free Sandwich Sprinkle jar and a free jar of their new Mitchell St. steak seasoning. Sandwich Sprinkle is one of my go to blends when lazy or in a hurry (Mural of Flavor is the other).

I love the smoked 4s salt too. Yummy on baked chicken! (I like legs with the thighs attached, heavily seasoned with this stuff, convection roasted at 400 for about 30 minutes...makes a good dinner with a salad on busy days, and is almost better cold the next day).

We tried the 4S on corn, not bad. Will try on chicken soon. I regret notgetting the smoked as well. Next time. ;)
The Red and Black is a big hit, both DH and our 12 year old love it. The 11 year old and I are wimps so we didn't use it.
I'm happy to have an alternative to the hot sauce bottle he keeps on the table at all times!
