After missing it last year, we were able to spend a portion of Black Friday in Pittsburgh’s Strip district. Since the crowds were all at the shopping centers and malls, crowds were about what would be expected on a normal Saturday.

Lydia's both serve decent grub when a need arises.
In addition to a box containing half dozen Sfogliatelle, we scored 10# of Cauputo “Tipo 00”, salt packed capers, salt packed anchovies, a couple pounds of Christmas Blend Coffee, some small prosciutto ends, and some Chorizo that almost has to better than the stuff I made soup with recently.
If the sausage is good, I think I will check out the possibility of some mail order
