Cool American = Cheeseburger, I think.

Builders Breakfast = full English breakfast, according to the Google. Mostly fried eggs & bacon.

Here's a Good Eats review of those six flavors pictured above.

I feel kind of out of it, but I sincerely dislike all flavors except plain. Actually, that's good, because when my children visit I buy flavored chips and am never tempted to eat them. A bag of plain tortilla or potato chips, on the other hand, is fair game. But I do feel like I'm out of sync with the rest of the world.

You're not alone. I hate all flavors except an occasional sour cream and onion. I do like flavors on my tortilla chips, but I prefer them baked in, not as dust.

Me three, I much prefer plain. When we moved to Canada I was stunned that most people put out salt and vinegar as well as sour cream and onion chips at gatherings. The flavours you can't tell are there until you put it in your mouth.

I grew up with 3 flavours: plain, salt and vinegar, and sour cream and onion. The ketchup and BBQ flavours came later on. I'm not a huge fan of either. Jean, salt and vinegar and sour cream & onion are the 'standard' chip flavours for parties. Plain aren't put out for company unless you also have a dip. It would be considered rude. I have no idea why, it's just one of those things. Sort of like fries and not offering condiments (gravy, salt & vinegar, and ketchup are the normal options).

The only flavored chips I like are Sour Cream & Onion and Salt & Vinegar. But since I almost never buy chips, I don't have to worry about it.

I love salt and vinegar and we also get paprika flavor here. I prefer a corn chip though, plain although I am not above licking off some cheesey dust. To be perfectly honest I would eat just about anything sliced thin, deep fried and salted. I had some of those jalepeno chips when in the U.S. and loved them. I think they would make a great crunchy topping for all sorts of things.

While I love vinegar on my chips when eating fish and chips, I don't care for any flavors including vinegar in my potato chips, popcorn or tortilla chips (except salt). I don't like fancy shapes or ridges either. Don't eat potato chips often so not a problem and tortilla chips only when fresh at Mexican restaurants. If I want flavors, I get them from dips.

Oh I gotta have ridges on my potato chips (the tiny kind, not the wavy ones). Otherwise, it totally throws off the dip-to-chip ratio.

This whole discussion is completely endangering my last packet of Lipton Onion Soup Mix.
