I need to order some more. I did order from webrestaurantstore before but didn't like the paper I got, it was very thin. (Becca, you order from there, is the unbleached paper thin as well?)

I've looking at ordering from The Baking Queen but would welcome any other suggestions.

I use the "If You Care" brand. It is lighter weight than commercial parchment, but sturdy and inexpensive. It stands up very well to re-use and it is big. I believe it is available in rolls or sheets.

I had gotten used to using parchment in the early eighties when I worked at a bakery. When I moved away from home the only places I could find that sold parchment were health food stores and they sold "If You Care." On the occasions when I've had to get something else, I've never been as happy as I am with that brand, so I've stuck with it ever since.

I buy mine at gordon food service. They have stores all over I amagine you can order from them as well.

Around here, Costco carries (carried) a decent brand in their usual large quantity. I've reused sheets for the same kind of cookie dough and it stood up well.

Amy, Bridgeware's sheets are the full sheet pan size, darn.
Laurie Gordon's doesn't have a location in CT or FI where I will be at the end of next month, darn. Will look a the ordering option though.
I have a cousin coming to stay in a couple of weeks so she will bring it with her.
Tim - I know....but the restaurant supply places I've been to here don't carry it. And the places restaurants order it from won't sell to me. You have to know a restauranteer to get them to order it for you, and I don't know one well enough to impose.
Jesbelle - I will look for that brand in the stores when we head down there for vacay.
Ilene- good to know. Randi (calipoutine) had told me about that site. Odd that her prices on ebay are cheaper than her own website. :?

Just curious if any of you have tried the reusable parchment paper such as Kaisers? Supposedly good up to 500 degrees and they claim up to 1000 reuses. While parchment paper is commonly available here, it is a bit expensive so a reusable sheet sounds interesting. However for some things, regular paper might be better since you can cut it to fit.

I regularly use parchment for my pizza since my pizza "stone" is constructed of bricks with uncertain content. They are probably okay but I err on the safe side and never cook food directly on them.
