Amy, I don't know if/when City Markets are on the list - as I learn more, I will share.

Marcella,

Welcome to the board.

I get up to Hawthorne about twice a year ... I'll have to say hello!

Thanks for the welcome. I'll be at the Hawthorne store only a few more weeks before my new job starts... hope to meet you - perhaps in my travels for Kroger.

I just read in the Denver Post that Murray's has opened a store within one of our new King Soopers markets. Fortunately, it is one somewhat close to my home. The store will offer 175 varieties of cheeses, as well as cured meats and an olive and antipasto bar. Murray's was a staple when I lived in New York and am thrilled to be able to enjoy their quality again.
Amy....this is an incentive for you to come and visit.

I tried to find this board several weeks ago and somehow, it had moved or I was lost... anyway... I was in Denver for 10 days training the new cheesemongers and I return on Sunday to conduct the "Red Jacket Training" for the Leetsdale store and the other two stores that will open in September... gotta check the new Murray's out - they're amazing...

We went through a domain name change a while back...you probably landed in the middle of that.

CM,

Well, I visited the Hawthorne store in late June, and you were already gone. So we're even. ;-)

Sorry to miss you. I left on June 1 to start this new cheese journey with Murray's and Kroger. I'm loving this job. Hope everyone will be visiting the new Murray's shops in Denver and coming to the Boulder area in October.
